Zoe & Kieran were married in April 2016 at St Bartholomew's Church in Rainhill and held the rest of their day at the amazing Peckforton Castle in Tarporley, Cheshire.
Filming for Zoe & Kieran's Wedding actually started a few weeks before their special day... Thanks to a special video shoot at a dance school with Zoe's father Tony and her Uncles... But more of that later on!
Their wedding day filming started as Zoe was getting ready just around the corner from the church. We follow the excitement as she gets ready for the day ahead... hair, makeup and a great deal of witty banter from her makeup artist!
Over at St Bartholomew's Church Kieran arrives and everyone prepares for the start of the Ceremony.
With everyone in the right place it is time for them to become Mr and Mrs Gannon.
Once married they sign the register with a left handed pen and then it's time for Kieran to pose "naturally" for some pictures!
With the rest of the service complete our Bride and Groom walk up the aisle and head off for their wedding reception.
Journeying with them we soon arrive at my all-time favourite wedding filming location... the incredibly beautiful Peckforton Castle in Tarporley, Cheshire.
With everyone arriving there is a Falconry show in the grounds and as this was the second wedding with Falconry at Peckforton Castle that we have filmed I had some great ideas for camera angles, where to stand and how to encourage the bird handlers to stand behind my camera to get some incredible "in-flight" shots.
Always wanting to go #TheExtraMile and after speaking with Zoe and Kieran we arrange for them to stand slightly apart and the bird handler stands behind me ... and then Mango (the bird) is called and flies directly between them and up over the camera giving such an AMAZING shot! You can see this on their film AND on the animated GIF image below! It's one of those "WOW" moments!
Back to the wedding film... Zoe and Kieran see the Great Hall where their wedding breakfast will be and then the guests are allowed in to take their seats. Mr and Mrs Gannon are introduced to their guests and after a break for the meal it is time for the Speeches.
First up is Tony, Father of the Bride. After the first part of his speech he introduces a film which is a series of family photos over the years ... its great... and there are a few tears from Zoe as she watches. With the photo slideshow complete... suddenly it is replaced by static and a countdown clock... with a "reaction camera" looking closely at the bride and groom the countdown reaches zero and there, on screen are her Dad and Uncles performing a choreographed dance routine to "My Girl". It's amazing, she is so shocked... everyone in the room is cheering and laughing along ... it was definitely one of those stand-out moments! You can see the full "slide show" and "dance routine" film below in the "related films" section of this page.
The Speeches continue, with both the Goom and the Best Man doing a great job.
Next its time for a series of messages from their family and friends, followed by their cake-cut and outdoor photoshoot.
The film continues with a chat with our happy couple, the first dance, father and daughter dance (including ANOTHER choreographed dance routine) and then their band play on into the night.
The film finishes off with a recap of their entire day.
Zoe and Kieran's film was brilliant to film... its always great to go back to Peckforton Castle, it was great to edit and is great to watch too!
